Volcano Winery - Just up the road past the entrance to Volcanoes National Park is this southern most US winery, specializing in fruit and tea-infused libations.

Hawaii Tropical Botanical Garden - A beautiful hike down to the water with all the beautiful flora Hawaii has to offer.

Green Sand Beach - From South Point (the southern-most point in the US) you can trek out to the lovely Papakōlea Beach with its incredible green sand. Do NOT drive your own vehicle - it is treacherous!

Beach Parks - There are some very cute beach parks in Hilo! On Hwy 11, take a right towards Hilo. Hilo Farmer’s Market, Kamehameha Ave and Mamo St, downtown Hilo, 6am-4pm

Maku’u Farmer’s Market, along the Keaau/Pahoa Hwy bypass road between Keanu and Pahoa. Sundays, Tuesdays-Thursdays 6am-1:30pm
